My Name is Tamara and I am a nurse practitioner that has worked in oncology since 2015. I started working in oncology and I fell in love with the way oncology nurses help patients through this time, and how much of an important impact we can make.
I did a graduate certificate in oncology initially to learn more about this specialty, and after a few years I completed my Master of Nursing Practice and became endorsed as a nurse practitioner.
My practice is about supporting oncology patients and carers during this time.
I feel services in our regional area are limited in relation to oncology care which is why I have created this practice and my aim is to fill this need, and to support our patients going through cancer. With my experience of over 10 years in oncology nursing care I bring knowledge, expertise, and most importantly passion.
